In the Fall of 2008, Ron Paul was in Columbia Heights speaking at a political fundraiser, and posed for photos with attendees including my sons John on the left and Anthony on the right. He also signed copies his books for us. |
Mad Dog Vachon

In May of 2003, I had the privilege of meeting Mad Dog Vachon at a professional wrestling show at Fridley High School. He had a wry sense of humor and speaks french fluently. Mad-Dog wrestled 13,000 matches in a career beginning as an amateur in Canada in the 1940s, and represented Canada in the 1948 Olympics, finishing 7th. He still travels from state to state signing posters and t-shirts. |
