One day in the late 70s, I was in the Tartan High School library checking out the January 1977 issue of Guitar Player magazine. Frank Zappa was on the cover with a guitar that was all beat up and I thought ‘what a junk guitar’. Well, turns out this was the stratocaster that Jimi Hendrix had lit on fire at the 1968 Miami Pop Festival.
Seeing the video of Dweezil talking about the guitar was touching for me as it brought me back in time to reading that magazine, and I was thinking about what it would be like to be able to give your son an iconic instrument such as this. I did give Anthony a very nice Paul Reed Smith archtop, though.

Spruce top Archtop like the one Anthony has.
